Position Summary:
Students within their last year of an accredited nurse anesthesia program may be considered, pending full licensure and credentialing upon hire.
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) provides anesthesia services for infant, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients across the health care continuum; coordinates peri-operative patient care in collaboration with all members of the health care team.

-Employee Health requires all employed providers to complete a health screen per HFHS policy.
-COVID Vaccination Requirement; a provider must be fully vaccinated (unless they have an approved medical or religious exemption) before their application will be forwarded to a specialist during the credentialing process.

1.MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
a.Completion of an Accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program
2.REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS
a.Current Michigan Nursing License
b.Current Michigan Specialty License
c.Current Certification by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists
d.Current BLS and ACLS Certification
3.REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, and ABILITIES
a.Ability to problem solve, effective verbal and written communication skills, and knowledge about the care of adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
b.Physically capable of standing, walking, stooping, bending, and lifting up to 30 pounds
