Job description

Job Title: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

UOVUNIUSREXTERNALENUS is seeking a CRNA to administer anesthesia and related care in collaboration with attending anesthesiologists in both main and satellite OR areas on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities:

1. Participate in pre-anesthetic preparation and evaluation.
2. Formulate patient-specific anesthesia care plans in collaboration with attending anesthesiologists.
3. Implement, monitor, and adjust patients' physiologic conditions according to the type of anesthesia and individual needs.
4. Transfer patient care responsibilities post-operatively to ensure continuity and safety.
5. Support operating room procedures.
6. Engage in additional responsibilities within your expertise.
7. Contribute to professional development of yourself and colleagues.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Details:

Compensation Range: $140.00 per hour.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: Master's Degree in Nursing or Anesthesia from an accredited institution or eligibility to practice as a CRNA in Virginia.
• Experience: None required.
• Licensure: Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, and Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in Virginia. BLS certification from AHA required.

Physical Demands:

Prolonged sitting, frequent bending/stooping, reaching, repetitive motions, and ability to lift heavy weights. May be exposed to various environmental hazards.
