Position Summary:

The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) safely administers anesthesia for surgical procedures, providing pain management before, during, and after operations. Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring patient functions, collaborating with surgical teams, and maintaining anesthesia equipment.

Basic Requirements/Certifications:

• Active, unrestricted RN license in the US or its territories.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS.
• At least 2 years of experience, with 6 months recent experience preferred, especially in austere or international settings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
• Experience working on military sites as a government contractor is preferred.

Educational Qualifications:

Graduates must hold an accredited Nursing degree (Associate, Bachelor, or Doctorate) recognized by relevant US state agencies and accrediting bodies such as ACEN or CCNE.

Physical Requirements:

• Meet pre-deployment physical standards.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, and lift up to 25 lbs.

Additional Qualifications:

• US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Valid US Passport with at least 6 months remaining.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US Government security clearance (e.g., MRPT).
• Willingness to relocate to Iraq for the project duration.
• Fluent in English communication skills.
