Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) (Iraq)

Role Description: The CRNA safely administers anesthesia for surgical procedures, providing pain management and anesthesia care before, during, and after operations. Responsibilities include medication administration, monitoring biological functions, consulting with the surgical team, and maintaining anesthesia equipment.

Basic Requirements/Certifications:

• Active, unrestricted RN license in the US or its territories.
• Certified in BLS and ACLS.
• At least 2 years of experience, with 6 months recent experience; experience abroad or in austere environments preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and EMR systems.
• Experience working on military sites as a government contractor is preferred.

Education: Degree in Nursing (Associate, Bachelor, or Doctor of Nursing Practice) from an accredited program.

Physical Requirements:

• Must meet pre-deployment physical standards.
• Ability to sit and stand for extended periods; capable of bending, stooping, and lifting up to 25 lbs.

Additional Qualifications:

• US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
• Valid US Passport with at least 6 months remaining; must maintain during deployment.
• Ability to obtain and sustain US security clearance (MRPT preferred).
• Willingness to relocate to Iraq for the project duration.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
