Qualifications

Basic Requirements/Certifications:

• Current, full, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth (e.g., Puerto Rico) of the United States, or the District of Columbia.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
• At least 2 years of experience, with 6 months within the past year; experience abroad or in austere environments is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Experience working on a military site as a government subcontractor or prime contractor is preferred.

Education Required:

• Associates, Bachelor, or Master of Science in Nursing, or Doctor of Nursing Practice degree. Candidates must be graduates of nursing schools approved and accredited by the appropriate State agency and accredited by either the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) at the time of program completion.

Physical Requirements:

• Must meet pre-deployment physical requirements.
• Work involves prolonged sitting and standing.
• May require bending, stooping, and lifting up to 25 lbs.

Other Special Qualifications:

• US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card required.
• Valid US Passport with at least 6 months before expiration; must maintain a current passport during stay in Iraq.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance, specifically an MRPT. Applicants with current clearances are preferred.
• Willingness to relocate to Iraq for the project duration.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
