Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program is required.
  • Certification by the Council of Recertification of AANA is mandatory.

Job description

Lincoln Hospital, a 25-bed critical access hospital and proud member of MaineHealth, is seeking 2 full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) to join our experienced and collaborative team. CRNAs at Lincoln Hospital provide anesthesia services for a variety of bread-and-butter cases in a supportive, patient-centered environment.

Service Lines Include:

  • General Surgery
  • Orthopedics
  • OB/GYN
  • Endoscopy (in the OR)
  • ENT
  • Podiatry
  • Ophthalmology

Desired Qualifications & Experience

Education/Training:

  • Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program recognized by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs or its predecessor.
  • Two years’ experience of CRNA experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • Eligible to obtain APRN license in the State of Maine.
  • Certification by the Council of Recertification of AANA (required).
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Membership in the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA) is preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Demonstrated competency in clinical responsibilities associated with anesthesia delivery.
