CRNA - Locum Tenens in Rochester, Michigan
New Grads Welcome Flexible Shifts Long-Term Need

A dynamic hospital in Rochester is seeking locum CRNA support starting July 13th and continuing until two permanent hires are made-expected around November or December 2025. This opportunity offers broad case exposure in a collaborative, high-acuity setting and welcomes new graduates ready to gain valuable experience.

Position Overview:

• Start Date: July 13, 2025

• Duration: Until two full-time CRNAs are hired

• Schedule: 8- or 10-hour day shifts with no call

• Setting: Hospital-based practice at a 180-bed facility with 11 operating rooms

Case Types & Responsibilities:

• Wide variety of surgical services: Cardiovascular, Neuro, Ortho, Robotic, ENT, Urology, Podiatry, and more

• Required procedures: General surgical, OB, neuro cases

• Additional preferred skills: Arterial line insertion, IVs, floor intubations

• Coverage includes non-OR locations (Endoscopy, OB, CT/MRI, etc.)

• Supervision model: 1 MDA to 4 CRNAs

• Average surgical cases per day: 35

• Patient population: Primarily adult and geriatric, minimal pediatrics

Additional Info:

• Trauma Level III

• Annual ER Volume: 80

• OR team includes RNs and scrub techs

• Documentation: Currently paper, transitioning to Epic in June 2026

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program (Master's or Doctorate)

• Board Certified CRNA (AANA)

• Active Michigan RN license and NBCRNA certification - required

• Clean background required

• BLS, ACLS, PALS - preferred

• Will consider providers in licensure process (per medical bylaws)
