Job description

Locums - Pueblo, Colorado, CRNA Openings

Clinical Role:

• Do you know someone that might be a good fit for this position? Please ask about our generous referral fees!
• Start Date: ASAP upon credentialing (April/May 2025)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday - 5x8's, 4x10's, 3x12's - Flexible on scheduling
• No call
• 40 hours/week guaranteed unless the provider requests off
• Full Time is strongly preferred but Part Time will be considered. Weekend-only options available.
• Provider will not work on holidays but may work 12-hour shifts on other days.
• PEDS not required but preferred.
• GI strongly preferred, with a schedule of Mon-Thurs (4x10's).

Work Environment & Cases:

• Hospital-based with satellite locations nearby.
• Average surgical cases per day: 25
• Case distribution: 80% General, 10% Complex Vascular, 10% Complex Orthopedic
• Fellowship training not required for cardiac or pediatric cases.

Team & Facility Details:

• Team includes 11 anesthesiologists and 28 CRNAs.
• Team care model typically involves supervision ratios of 1:2 or 1:3.
• 10 operating rooms equipped with GE Carestation 650s.
• EMR: EPIC

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Required Procedures: General Anesthesia (Adult)
• Preferred Procedures: Spinal Anesthesia, Neurosurgical (spine), Complex vascular (excluding open heart), and complex orthopedic cases.
• Privileges to do orientation are required, including tour, badge, Epic training, and shadowing days.
• Certifications & Licenses: NBCRNA Certified, Active CO License or IMLC, Active BLS, EPIC proficiency, Clean malpractice/background check, Covid vaccination.
