Job description

Looking for a CRNA to join our growing hospital-employed Anesthesia group of 8 anesthesiologists and 20 CRNAs. This position offers a 4-day work week with rotating call. No surgery center coverage is required. New graduates are welcome!

• 4 days per week with rotating call
• Office hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (cases start at 7:30 a.m.), with potential extension past 3:30 p.m. for surgery add-on cases
• Call responsibilities:
  • Rotating weekday call every other week
  • Weekend call is 1:10
  • All call occurs after the day off
• Case load varies by room, including:
  • General Surgery
  • Thoracic
  • Vascular
  • OB/maternity
  • Gynecology
  • ENT
  • Ophthalmology
  • Orthopedics
  • Urology
  • Healthy Peds (nothing less than 1 year old)

Compensation & Benefits:

• Sign-on Bonus: 15% of base salary, paid upon signing and forgiven over 2 years
• Vacation: 272 hours PTO
• CME/Books & Journals: 5 days PTO and up to $5,000
• Deferred compensation: 457b plan, up to IRS limit of $20,500/year before taxes (no matching)
• Retirement/Savings Plan: 403b plan, defer up to IRS limits ($23,000 under 50; $30,500 over 50). SOMC matches dollar for dollar up to 2% of base pay.
• Moving Expenses: $10,000 paid to moving company
• Malpractice Insurance: Claims-made coverage, $2,000,000 per claim/$6,000,000 aggregate
• Bonus Incentives: Up to 10% of salary
• Student Loan Reimbursement: Up to $80,000 ($10,000/year with service commitment)
• Overtime Pay: Time and a half for hours over 40 per week
• Evening Differential: Monday-Thursday after 4:00 p.m.
• Weekend Differential: Friday after 4:00 p.m. to Monday before 7:00 a.m.
• On-call Premium Pay
