Aya Locums has an immediate opening for a locum Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) job in New London, CT paying $220-235/hour.

Position Overview

• Specialty: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Contract Length: Ongoing (start date 3/3/2025)
• Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday: 8, 10, 12, or 16-hour shifts
  • Weekend shifts available with higher pay rate ($235/hr)
  • No call on weekends

Facility Details

• Type: Acute Care Hospital
• Address: New London, CT
• Beds: 220 (community hospital, applying for Level III Trauma Center status)
• Specialties: Bread-and-butter cases including ortho, podiatry, surgery, plastics, ophthalmology, vascular (open and in cath lab).
  • Exclusions: No complicated brain, thoracic, open heart, complicated OB, or sick pediatric cases.

Work Requirements

• Practice Setting: Directed supervision, 3:1 model
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years required. Candidates with 1.5 years of experience may be submitted for Level I trauma or travel experience.
• References: Must provide references from every chief of practice from the past 5 years.
• Licensure: Active CT license and CT DEA required. Willing to credential and license during the process (up to 120 days).

Additional Information

• Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days (120 days for licensing).
• Travel/Lodging: Provided.
• Vaccines Required:
  • COVID-19 + Booster (no exemptions)
  • Flu vaccine (no exemptions)
• Compensation:
  • Monday-Friday: $220/hour
  • Weekends: $235/hour
