Job description

Medical Center is seeking multiple Locums CRNA professionals!

Schedule:

• Coverage Dates: Starting ASAP, with contracts of at least 6 months preferred; 3-month contracts considered with extension options.
• Work Hours: 36-40 hours/week, with 10- or 12-hour shifts. While 10- and 12-hour shifts are most common, there is flexibility based on scheduling needs.
• Lunch is generally unpaid; 30-minute add-on times are included in schedules. Staff, including locums, typically leave on time or early. Standard breaks include 15-minute morning and afternoon breaks.

• Supervision: Utilizes a medical direction billing model with collaborative practice alongside physician anesthesiologists.

• Pain Management Cases: 0
• Facility Level: Level 1 Trauma Center
• Annual ER Volume: >60,000 visits/year
• OR Staff Environment: Patient-centered care, collaboration, mutual respect, and excellent team environment.
• Number of Operating Rooms: 50
• Patient Demographics: Whole lifespan; dedicated pediatric CRNA team covers pediatric cases.
• Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 120 days

• Note: Open hearts, regional anesthesia, and central lines are not performed by CRNAs; dedicated teams handle pediatric, thoracic, and OB cases.

Certifications:

• Board Certification - REQUIRED
• ME State License - Highly preferred; candidates needing to obtain license will be considered
• BLS, ACLS - REQUIRED (PALS optional)

Minimum Experience: At least 1 year of Level 1 trauma center experience as a CRNA; new graduates are not accepted.
