Cases start at 7:30 am, with 4-5 cases in each room.
Total knees, Total hips, Breast reductions, Community urology procedures, Vascular procedures like fem-pop bypass, General procedures such as lap chole, appendectomy, hernia repairs, Spine surgeries like laminectomies (multi-level), ENT thyroidectomy, GI colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP.
Gynecology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Vascular, GI, Podiatry, Urology.
CRNAs are medically directed and work within a care team model with a concurrency ranging from 1:2.5 to 1:3. Anesthesiologists should be called for induction, emergence, and any significant hemodynamic changes. Occasionally, physicians may work independently or with SRNAs without CRNAs. No Anesthesiologist Assistants (AAs) are licensed in PA.
