Job description

Coverage Needed:

• Start Date: 6/2/2025
• End Date: Unknown
• Schedule: 5 (8s) or 4 (10s), estimated 20 shifts per month

Clinical Details:

• Typical Cases: Total knees, total hips, breast reductions, community-type urology procedures, vascular procedures like fem-pop bypass, general procedures such as lap chole, appendectomy, hernia repairs, spine surgeries (laminectomies, multi-level), ENT (thyroidectomy), GI (colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP)
• Call: No on-call duties
• EMR: Cerner
• Support Staff: CRNAs are medically directed in a care team model with a concurrency of 1:2.5 to 1:3. Anesthesiologists are called for induction, emergence, and significant hemodynamic changes. Physicians may work hands-on with SRNAs without CRNAs. No AAs in practice model.

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Anesthesiology
• State Licensure: Pennsylvania (will accept candidates needing to obtain a license)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPR, PALS, NBCRNA required
• Minimum Experience: 1 year
• DEA: Not required
