VHS is seeking a qualified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for an Obstetrics assignment in Orange, CA. The position details are as follows:

1. Location: Orange, CA
2. Start Date: May 8, 2025
3. End Date: August 7, 2025
4. Duration: 13 Weeks
5. Shift: 12-hour day shifts

Job Description

This role involves supporting staff under the supervision of an anesthesiologist, with up to 3 CRNAs supervised at a time. The facility is a Level 1 Trauma Center with high-acuity patients, requiring providers to manage very sick patients, including trauma cases on weekends. The practice setting includes an academic environment with residents and faculty oversight.

Requirements

• Board Certification: Yes
• California License: Required
• Trauma experience within the last 2 years
• No OB, Peds, or cardiac cases
• Experience with high-acuity patients in a Level 1 trauma setting
• EMR: EPIC

Additional Details

• Shift details: 12-hour shifts, with 2-3 weekend shifts per month; start times vary between 6:30 AM, 9:30 AM, or 11:30 AM
• Pay Rate: $226.98 per hour (1099)
• Overtime: 1.5x after 40 hours/week, including holidays
• Holiday Schedule: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas
• Credentialing: 30-45 days
• Note: Providers working at UCSD cannot work at UCI as locum
