Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at Cynet Locums

Summary:

A Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) provides anesthesia care in various surgical settings, primarily handling trauma cases. The role involves performing spinal blocks and managing patient care across different age groups, with most patients over 12 years old. Candidates must hold the necessary certifications and be willing to participate in weekend call rotations.

Shift Options: 8-hour days, 4 10-hour days, or 12-hour shifts are available.

Description:

  1. Willingness to do weekend call work (pager, not in-house) is required.
  2. Weekend call hours are from 0700 Saturday/Sunday to 0700 the next day. Call 1 on Sunday is off post-call Monday; Call 2 is not off post-call.
  3. Primarily trauma cases; CRNAs perform spinal blocks only, no regional anesthesia.
  4. Patient age demographics include adolescents, children, adults, and geriatrics, with over 90% of patients being over 12 years old.
  5. Options to work 4 or 5 days per week, including 12-hour shifts.
  6. Must possess a DEA license and CSR.
  7. Credentialing process takes approximately 90 days.

Requirements:

  1. ID license - Highly preferred
  2. NBCRNA certification - Required
  3. DEA license and CSR - Required
