Job description

Location: A suburban city in Michigan approximately 50 miles north of Detroit. Known for its small-town charm, excellent schools, and family-friendly atmosphere, this city offers a mix of residential neighborhoods, parks, and local businesses.

Facility: A state-of-the-art academic hospital and research center located in Detroit's New Center area. The 877-bed hospital is recognized for clinical excellence in cardiology and cardiovascular surgery, neurology and neurosurgery, orthopedics and sports medicine, transplant, and cancer.

Opportunity:

1. Seeking 4-6 CRNA's to join their team!
2. Coverage start: As soon as credentialed, ongoing. Need providers by May 1 at the latest.
3. Primarily seeking full-time candidates; open to PRN coverage.
4. Priority given to full-time availability.
5. Practice setting: Hospital-based.
6. Schedule: Monday-Friday day shifts; options for 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts.
7. No call required.
8. Documentation system: Paper charts; no EMR.
9. CRNA role: Team approach with significant independence; may supervise or have CRNA students shadow.
10. Average surgical cases per day: 30-50.
11. OR staff includes: SAA, surgeon, CRNA.
12. Number of operating rooms: 22.
13. Candidate requirements: Prefer experienced candidates; willing to train on complex cases if needed.
14. Patient demographic: Typically adults.
15. Procedures: General surgical cases (adults) and IV regional anesthesia.
16. CRNAs perform their own lines and regional anesthesia; preferred but not mandatory.
17. Case types: General anesthesia, local cases, neuro, ortho, spinals, OB, GYN, urology.
18. Limited pediatric cases due to lack of dedicated department.
19. Rare dental cases (~one day/month).
20. No cardiac cases.
