Primary Purpose:

Administer anesthesia and related care, from pre-anesthetic assessment to post-anesthetic follow-up, collaborating with anesthesiologists to ensure quality patient care, comfort, and satisfaction during procedures.

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Education: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program (COA or equivalent).
2. Experience: Relevant experience or equivalent educational background.
3. Licensure and Certification: Current RN license from Texas or a valid Compact license; valid APRN license with CRNA authorization from Texas; current CPR certification from AHA, Red Cross, or Military; ACLS certification; NBCRNA certification; compliance with Medical Staff policies.

Skills and Abilities:

• Provide care according to Texas Nurse Practice Act, protocols, and standards.
• Make sound clinical decisions, uphold ethical standards, and respect patient rights.
• Demonstrate organizational, communication, and patient-centered skills in a diverse environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
2. Develop controls to adhere to legal and program requirements.
3. Maintain knowledge of sanitation, infection control, safety, and resource utilization.
