A leading healthcare provider in Huntersville is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join their team. The role involves performing pre-anesthesia assessments, developing care plans, and administering anesthesia for a variety of surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience in both adult and pediatric anesthesia, with a focus on patient safety and collaboration with healthcare teams. Perform comprehensive pre-anesthesia assessments, including patient interviews and chart reviews.
Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans tailored to patient needs and procedural requirements.
Administer general, regional, local, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC) for surgical, diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures.
Monitor patients throughout the perioperative period, adjusting anesthetic plans as necessary based on clinical changes.
Manage emergency airway situations and provide resuscitative measures when required.
Provide postoperative anesthesia care, including pain management and monitoring for adverse reactions or complications.
Document all aspects of anesthesia care accurately and thoroughly in the electronic health record (EHR).
Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as institutional policies.
Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program (Master s or Doctorate in Nurse Anesthesia).
Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure in North Carolina.
National certification from the NBCRNA (Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist).
Current BLS and ACLS certification; PALS preferred.
Minimum of 1 2 years of CRNA experience preferred, but new graduates may be considered depending on the practice setting.
