Explore an exciting opportunity with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist as we eagerly welcome a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our dynamic Anesthesia Team at our Outpatient Surgery Clinic in Clemmons, NC.

Position Highlights:

  • Shift Schedule: PRN
  • Location: AHWFB Clemmons, Outpatient Surgery Center
  • Competitive PRN Hourly Rate of $150 per hour
  • Not a Contracted Position - W2 Employee on PRN Schedule!

Where You’ll Work: Clemmons Surgery Center is an outpatient, network surgery clinic offering a variety of anesthesia services, including: General Surgery, Gynecology, Dental Surgery, Orthopedics, Hand Surgery, Otolaryngology (ear, nose, and throat), Pain Management, Plastic Surgery, Podiatry, and Urology.

What You’ll Do:

As a valued member of our healthcare team, the CRNA will play a key role in team-focused patient care, providing anesthesia using safe and quality techniques during Pediatric Procedures. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Potential for and encouraged to precept Student Nurse Anesthetists, offering opportunities to mentor and assess medical students.
  2. Use medical decision-making skills to determine appropriate patient care plans to ensure peri-operative and anesthesia care, being sensitive to co-morbidities and age & developmental guidelines.
  3. Collaborate with the medical team when needed for effective team-based care; uphold patient safety, drive quality improvement, and promote infection prevention within job responsibilities and initiatives.
  4. Document and maintain patient records in compliance with hospital standards, ensuring confidentiality.
  5. Maintain scheduling flexibility, readiness, and punctuality to deliver timely patient care.
  6. Exhibit professionalism through teamwork, collaboration, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  7. Contribute to cost containment efforts by conserving resources.
  8. Perform other related duties as assigned.

The clinician functions under the regulatory mandate from their respective licensing organization (North Carolina Medical Board or North Carolina Board of Nursing) with departmental-specific credentialing from the institution.

CRNA Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program, Master’s Degree or higher required.
  • Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina Board of Nursing + current certification or recertification to practice as a Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board.
  • Current CPR Certification, ACLS, BLS.
  • Ability to demonstrate clinical competency within the scope of granted privileges.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse clinical teams.
