Job Summary

Novant Health is hiring a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for variable hours at our Pender Memorial Hospital location in Burgaw, North Carolina. We offer up to a $45,000 sign-on bonus and $7,500 relocation assistance.

• Schedule: Full-Time, 1.0 FTE, 80 hours per 2 weeks, 12-hour shifts, occasional weekends
• Department: Anesthesia

About the Department

Join our anesthesia team! We have a collaborative environment, a level 2 trauma center, and self-scheduling. You will care for patients undergoing high-risk procedures such as endoscopy, open heart, OB, cardiology, and robotic surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for anesthesia.
• Administer anesthesia.
• Monitor patients during procedures.
• Assess and manage recovery from anesthesia.
• Collaborate with providers and nurses on care plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and Master's of Science in Nursing.
• Current valid RN license.
• Certified RN Anesthetist credential.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications.
• Minimum three years relevant experience.

Additional Information

If your RN/CRNA license has been inactive for five or more years, you must complete a Board-approved refresher course before reinstatement. Apply for licensure reinstatement within one year of course completion.
