Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Royal Oak is seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a part-time role at the Henry Ford Medical Group Surgery Center- Royal Oak. You will rotate within the ambulatory division to cover a wide range of cases and locations.

Responsibilities include pre-anesthesia assessments, anesthesia administration (general, regional, MAC), intraoperative monitoring, and post-anesthesia care with strong emphasis on safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and CRNA certification (NBCRNA).
• Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop tailored anesthesia care plans.
• Administer anesthesia (general, regional, or MAC) in collaboration with surgeons.
• Monitor patients during procedures and manage anesthesia-related complications.

$20k Sign on Bonus Eligible

• Be willing to rotate within the ambulatory division when the needed to provide coverage for cases in the division.

Work-Life:

• No call, no overnight, minimal weekend shifts, latest shift ends at 9:30pm.
• HFMG Surgery Centers provide an opportunity to perform a wide variety of cases such as total hips and knees, plastic, sports medicine, ortho, urology, GYN, ophthalmology, podiatry, dental, pediatrics, and endoscopy, and general surgery.
• The Ambulatory Division has over 40 CRNAs and 10 senior staff physicians delivering high quality fast-paced patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop tailored anesthesia care plans.
• Administer anesthesia (general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care) in collaboration with surgeons and other healthcare providers.
• Monitor patients during procedures and manage any anesthesia-related complications.
• Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management.Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Current RN license and CRNA certification (NBCRNA).
• Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Graduation from an accredited school of anesthesia.
• Ability to work harmoniously in collaborative situations with anesthesiologists and other health care providers.
