Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Anesthetizes patients and selects appropriate drugs for anesthesia and emergencies.
• Induces, maintains, and monitors anesthesia, responding to codes and airway management needs.
• Adjusts medications based on patient monitoring and interprets hemodynamic data and equipment status.
• Performs thorough preoperative assessments and organizes OR setup with monitors, equipment, and drugs.
• Coordinates with healthcare team to ensure patient safety, positioning, and equipment functionality.
• Provides anesthesia support, charts accurately into EMR, and ensures safe patient transport and handoff.
• Serves as a mentor, preceptor, and expert in anesthesia to peers, staff, residents, and students.
