ST BERNARDS PHYSICIAN CLINICS in Trumann, AR, is seeking a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant (SBPC) for a full-time day shift (Mon-Fri 7am-4pm). Under supervision of licensed staff, you will perform patient care tasks, room patients, assist with procedures and manage intake activities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
Completion of high school or its equivalent and CCMA (NHA,), CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT). Knowledge of computer software such as Windows, Office and Internet use. Ability to perform support activities in patient care as required through completion of an CCMA (NHA), CMA (AAMA), or RMA (AMT) Certification Examination.
Experience
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a clinical or outpatient setting, with responsibilities including direct patient care, rooming patients, assisting with procedures, and other intake elements. Candidates must demonstrate competency in patient care and safety practices. Previous experience in a clinic or outpatient setting is preferred but not required. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and comfort working in a fast-paced clinic environment are essential.

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for performing assigned patient care activities and assisting licensed nursing personnel. Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Supervisor, licensed nurse, licensed physician, or designee. Incumbents are subject to overtime and call-back as required by facility. Attendance is an essential function of this job.
