Job summary

MedLink GA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinicians in a fast-paced office in Lexington, GA. This full-time role requires CMA certification, completion of an accredited medical assisting program, and at least 1 year of clinical experience.

You will record histories and vital signs, prepare exam rooms, assist with procedures, manage scheduling, verify insurance, and educate patients, while using EHR systems like eClinicalWorks.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required or in progress.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited medical assisting program preferred.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Record histories, vital signs, and updates in the EHR.
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure instruments are sterilized.
• Administer medications and injections as directed.
• Perform basic lab tests and collect specimens.
• Educate patients on meds, treatment plans, and health maintenance.
• Handle scheduling, insurance verification, and admin tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
