Job summary

MedLink Georgia is seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant to support clinicians in Hartwell, GA. You will assist with patient examinations, take histories and vital signs, and manage room preparation and routine procedures.

The role requires CMA certification, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 1 year of clinical experience. EHR proficiency with eClinicalWorks and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• CMA certification required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; accredited medical assisting program preferred.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Record patient histories, vital signs, and updates in EHR (eClinicalworks).
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment is sterilized.
• Administer medications and injections as directed.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens.
• Provide patient education on medications and treatment plans.
• Handle scheduling, insurance verification, and administrative tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
