Experienced Certified or Registered Medical Assistant needed for a busy family medicine office in Frankfort, IL. This is a part-time position requiring certification or registration as a medical assistant. A minimum of two years of prior experience is required. The candidate must be computer literate, comfortable working with pediatric patients, skilled in administering vaccines/injections to patients of all ages, and able to draw blood. Responsibilities include:

1. Rooming patients
2. Administering injections
3. Performing phlebotomy
4. Scheduling appointments
5. Relaying test results to patients
6. Verifying insurance eligibility
7. Documenting accurately into EMR and billing software
8. Scanning documents into EMR
9. Sending billing statements
10. Posting payments
11. Assisting with remote patient monitoring
12. Handling referrals
13. Performing basic in-office testing
