Job summary

MedLink Georgia is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinicians in a fast-paced clinic in Habersham, GA. You will assist with examinations, record vital signs, prepare exam rooms, and maintain sterile equipment.

The ideal candidate is CMA certified, with at least 1 year of clinical experience, strong communication and patient care skills, and familiarity with EHR systems. This role offers a competitive hourly rate and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• CMA certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited medical assisting program preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Record patient medical histories, vital signs, and updates in electronic health records (eClinicalworks).
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure medical equipment is sterilized and ready for use.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing.
• Provide patient education on medications, treatment plans, and health maintenance.
• Handle scheduling, insurance verification, and administrative tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
