• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is required.
• Education: high school diploma or equivalent; accredited medical assisting program preferred.
• Experience: at least 1 year in a clinical setting preferred.
• Skills: excellent communication, multitasking, and patient care.
• Technical: familiarity with EHR systems and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Record patient histories, vital signs, and updates in electronic health records (eClinicalWorks).
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment is sterilized and ready for use.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing.

• Handle scheduling, insurance verification, and administrative tasks as needed.
