MedLink Georgia is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support clinicians in a busy Georgia clinic. The role involves rooming patients, recording histories and vital signs, and assisting with procedures.

The ideal candidate has CMA certification and 1+ year of clinical experience, with proficiency in EHR systems and patient communication. This full-time position offers a supportive team environment and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification is required or preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited medical assisting program preferred.
• At least 1 year of clinical experience is preferred.
• Strong communication, multitasking and patient-care skills.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Record patient histories, vital signs, and updates in EHR (eClinicalworks).
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure equipment is sterilized.
• Administer medications and injections as directed by providers.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing.
• Educate patients on medications, treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Handle scheduling, insurance verification and administrative tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.
