Job summary

MedLink Georgia seeks a Certified Medical Assistant to support physicians in a patient-centered clinic in Colbert, GA. The CMA will document histories and vitals, assist with examinations, and maintain a clean clinical environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited medical assisting program preferred.
• CMA certification required; minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred.
• Proficient communication, multitasking, and patient care in fast-paced settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures.
• Record patient histories, vital signs, and updates in EHR (eClinicalWorks).
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure equipment is sterilized and ready.
• Administer medications and injections as directed.
• Perform basic lab tests and collect specimens.
• Educate patients on medications, treatment plans, and health maintenance.
• Handle scheduling, insurance verification, and administrative tasks.
• Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment.
