Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field required.
• One or more years’ experience in recreation in a healthcare setting.
• CTRS certification or in process, or related licensure with expressive therapy certification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments through interviews to identify needs and goals.
• Plan and implement recreational therapy activities aligned with treatment plans.
• Lead individual and group therapies across five domains: physical, social, intellectual, creative, spiritual.
• Provide safe, therapeutic activities and monitor safety and progress.
• Document assessments and progress notes promptly and accurately.
• Coordinate resources, supplies, and equipment for activities and programs.
