The Certified Recreational Therapist is responsible for assessing clients’ leisure and recreational activities, providing age- and developmentally-appropriate therapy groups, and establishing behavioral treatment goals consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Compass Intervention Center. The Certified Recreational Therapist creates a safe environment for clients, provides direct supervision, empowers clients, and teaches new coping tools to clients.
