Job summary

The Armstrong-Indiana-Clarion Drug & Alcohol Commission seeks a full-time Certified Recovery Specialist to serve at the Indiana County Jail. You will provide non-clinical recovery support to inmates and help arrange community resources after release.

Qualifications

Job description

The Armstrong-Indiana-Clarion Drug & Alcohol Commission is seeking a full-time Certified Recovery Specialist to work at the Indiana County Jail. This position provides one-on-one recovery support to inmates and assists with connecting individuals to community resources upon release.

The CRS will provide non-clinical recovery support services, including coordination of care, casework activities, peer support, mentoring, and aftercare planning. The position works closely with individuals to support recovery, help navigate the system of care, and connect to needed services in the community.

This role includes working with inmates receiving Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT). All MAT inmates will meet with the CRS while incarcerated, and the CRS will help set up services in the community to continue MAT upon release.

Key Responsibilities:
