Job summary

Main Line Health, Inc. is seeking a Certified Recovery Specialist at Bryn Mawr Hospital to engage patients with substance use disorders, facilitate access to treatment, and coordinate resources.

You will educate clients and families, support self-sufficiency, and perform outreach after hospital stays to improve recovery outcomes. The role includes a day shift from 8am to 4:30pm, with tuition reimbursement up to $6,000 yearly based on full/part-time status, and benefits like PTO and employee

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of recent clinical experience in substance abuse treatment.
• Minimum 18 months of personal sustained recovery.
• One year of recent experience in acute care hospitals as CRS or with patients with substance use disorders.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate warm handoffs from the ED, physician offices, or inpatient settings.
• Help access treatment and connect to community resources and 12 Step information.

Use your effective communication skills in educating the client/patient and family in the skills necessary to obtain supports in order to achieve and maintain self-sufficiency and recovery from substance use disorders. Position:

Certified Recovery Specialist- 40 hours/week

Shift:

Day Shift- 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday

Experience:

• 1. One year of recent clinical experience in substance abuse treatment.
• 2. 18 months of personal sustained recovery.
• 3. 1 year recent experience working in acute care hospitals as a Certified Recovery Specialist or working with patients with substance use disorders.

Education:

• 1. High school diploma or GED required.
• 2. Excellent verbal, written, computer and clerical skills.

Licensures/Certifications:

• Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) certification, including successful completion of CRS 54 hour training program.
• Signing of an ethical code of conduct
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License
