Qualifications

• Certification in general radiologic technology by ARRT (R); advanced ARRT for CT/MRI/Mammography as applicable.
• Education: completion of a 24-month post-high school radiologic technology program, certificate or associate degree, accredited.
• Credentialing standards per 42 CFR Part 75; program accredited by a recognized body by the DOE; must be certified as radiographers in their field.
• If credential not maintained, may be removed from occupation per policy; grandfathering provision may apply for current VHA employees meeting criteria.
