Veterans Health Administration seeks an Advanced Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (MRI/CT/X-Ray) to perform general diagnostic radiography, CT, and MRI across the Fredericksburg Health Care Center. The role requires ARRT certification in Radiography, MRI, and CT, with duties spanning routine exams, interventional imaging, and complex MRI protocols.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiography (R), MRI, and CT.
• Must be eligible for federal employment under VA standards.

Responsibilities

• General Diagnostic X-ray and CT/MRI duties, including routine exams, portables, fluoroscopy, and operating room tasks.
• MRI includes brain, spine, and body imaging with complex procedures (MRA, MRV, etc.).
• Screening patients for contraindications and ensuring MRI safety standards.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast; monitor and optimize image quality; send images to PACS.
