Overview

The Mt Airy Christian Day School is looking for an enthusiastic Pre-K teacher who holds a certification in Pre-K to 4th Grade. This person will foster and facilitate the intellectual and social development of the children. Teaching responsibilities include planning, implementing and assessing lessons. You will teach children with patience and creativity.

• Be mentally and physically capable of caring for no more than 10 children alone in a classroom
• Possess a strong work ethic, punctuality, and minimal absences; have an awareness of young children’s unique needs and appropriate expectations of their abilities
• Be able to kneel, bend, squat, lift, push, pull, and carry children up to 70 lbs
