Job summary

DaMar Staffing in California is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Coder & Biller to join our growing team. You will perform accurate coding and billing, submit and track claims, and help maximize reimbursements.

We value reliability and professional growth. You’ll stay current with Medi-Cal, Medicare, PPO and HMO guidelines, work in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy four 10-hour days, flexible hours, and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Certified coding credential (CPC, CCS) or equivalent preferred.
• Extensive medical billing experience.
• Expert knowledge of California Medi-Cal, Medicare, PPO, and HMO billing.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Self-starter who works independently with minimal supervision.
• Positive attitude and willingness to take on new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate medical coding and billing.
• Submit, track, and appeal insurance claims.
• Resolve denials and maximize reimbursements.
• Post payments and reconcile accounts.
• Communicate with providers and insurance companies.
• Stay current with California payer guidelines.
• Help keep our growing billing operation running smoothly.
