Job summary

The role requires CA CPT 1 certification, 1 year lab experience preferred (new grads ok), and BCLS upon hire.

Qualifications

• Certificate CPT 1 in the State of California.
• Minimum 1 year clinical laboratory experience preferred, but new graduate acceptable.
• BCLS upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform phlebotomy and collect specimens for analysis.
• Handle computer entry, filing and other clerical duties.
• Greet patients and maintain friendly, professional communication.
• Work under supervision of a Clinical Laboratory Scientist.
• Keep storage areas and equipment clean and organized.
• Process specimens for reference laboratory and various tests.
• Stock and order routine supplies as needed.
• Move throughout the facility to collect specimens safely.
• Assist with special projects and meet deadlines.
