We are currently seeking highly skilled and motivated part-time Certified Phlebotomy Technicians (CPT-1) for our team in North San Diego County. Day and night opportunities are available.

Candidates MUST reside in North San Diego County to be considered.

Responsibilities

As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for obtaining evidentiary blood samples from criminal suspects at law enforcement agencies and hospitals. Our organization is responsible for collecting blood samples used as evidence in criminal cases, including DUI, drug influence, homicide, assault, and rape cases.

This is primarily an on-call position, responding to calls from your own homebase.

Qualifications

Successful candidates must hold a Certified Phlebotomy Technician 1 certification issued by the California Department of Public Health, have excellent phlebotomy skills with at least 500 blood samples previously obtained, and reliable transportation. The position requires passing a thorough background check, including FBI and DOJ checks. The role is on-call with STAT responses throughout the county.
