Advocate Health is seeking a Phlebotomist to collect blood from patients of any age, process specimens, and ensure quality control within an outpatient laboratory setting. The position supports the Rome Family Medicine department and requires completion of a formal phlebotomy program and a valid certification.

Full-time role with a 37-hour work week, Monday through Friday, 0800-1700, with pay range $19.80–$29.70 per hour.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a formal training program in Phlebotomy.
• Completion of departmental clinical evaluation checklist.

Responsabilidades

• Receive orders for laboratory testing, collect blood from patients of any age or status and issue appropriate paperwork to the Advocate laboratory or outside for processing.
• Maintain the laboratory in an efficient working state and perform lab procedures while ensuring quality control.
