Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Pharmacy technician training or 1 year on-the-job experience.
• National certification required.
• State licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacist with medication preparation and labeling.
• Transcribe physicians' orders to pharmacy system and adjust dosing times.
• Prepare unit doses and compounds under supervision.
• Maintain clean and orderly workspace and inventory; remove outdated meds.
• Participate in tech meetings and update manuals.
• Support billing with correct reason codes.
• Greet customers and provide professional service.
• Ensure compliance with infection control policies.
