Hy-Vee is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our Pharmacy Department. You will support pharmacists in processing prescriptions, billing, and customer service, while applying strict HIPAA privacy standards.

The role requires a high school diploma and a certified national- program license, with vaccination certification as applicable. Prior pharmacy experience is preferred, and you will help maintain inventory, accuracy, and a professional environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified as a licensed technician through a certified national program required; must maintain continuing education requirements to keep license active.
• Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or pharmacy clerk preferred.
• Vaccination certification required if administering vaccines, as required by law.

Responsabilidades

• Provide prompt, friendly customer service and greet customers with a smile.
• Assist pharmacists in preparing prescription drug products for dispensing.
• Handle prescription processing, insurance billing, and customer service tasks.
• Order, stock, and log pharmacy supplies and invoices.
• Administer vaccines where permitted by law and required certifications.
• Maintain HIPAA confidentiality and pharmacy area cleanliness.
