Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a pharmacy technician to support pharmacists in delivering health and wellness services while ensuring accurate dispensing and excellent customer service.

The role emphasizes HIPAA compliance, data entry accuracy, and adherence to all safety and regulatory guidelines. Candidates must maintain current national registration or licensure as required by state regulations, and demonstrate integrity, confidentiality, and a customer-first mindset in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to handle highly confidential information.
• Completion of national registration, certification or licensure for pharmacy technicians.

Responsibilities

• Support pharmacist in all responsibilities except those requiring a pharmacist's professional judgement.
• Provide a stellar customer experience through reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
• Assist in coaching and training clerks and technicians.
• Perform CLIA-waived screenings in line with state and federal law and company policy.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and adhere to company policies.
• Ensure sanitation and safety regulations are followed.
