Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a pharmacist assistant role to support the pharmacy team in daily operations and customer service. You will assist the pharmacist under supervision, process prescriptions, and help customers find products while maintaining a compliant and welcoming store environment.

The position requires willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, and to participate in training to maintain PTCB-related credentials as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy systems and coach technicians and cashiers when certified.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Support inventory management including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals.
• Enter patient and drug information accurately and verify for interactions.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to keep the Pharmacy Department clean and orderly.
