Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer prior Walgreens experience.
• Prefer good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Prefer good computer skills.
• Prefer knowledge of store inventory control.
• Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy and other Pharmacy Department duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions; coach technicians if PTCB certified.
• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Assist in entering patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, and verifying accuracy.
• Handle cash transactions and direct customers to OTC products as needed.
• Assist with inventory management and coordination of pharmacy operations.
• Support pharmacist in clinical services and coordination with healthcare providers.
