Qualifications

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification required.
• NYS OOP registered Pharmacy Technician within 6 months of hire required.
• Preferred: High School diploma or equivalent; experience in hospital/clinic setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate EMR system and pharmacy information system.
• Deliver medications to floors and patient care areas.
• Assist in compounding and prep of IV/Non-sterile medications.
• Fill prescriptions and prepare patient-specific labels.
• Maintain stock levels and inventory controls.
• Answer phones and perform clerical tasks in a pharmacy setting.
