Qualifications

• Active national certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through PTCB or NHA.
• KY licensure as Pharmacy Technician (PHT) or Pharmacy Intern (PHI) in KY.
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supports the pharmacist in the medication use process and patient care.
• Follows guidelines under supervision of the pharmacist for medication preparation and distribution.
• Assists with IV admixture, dispensing, and inventory in unit-based cabinets.
• Performs insurance verification, uses technology, and delivers medications.
