Responsibilities
- Support & assist the Pharmacist in medication use and patient care, ensuring safe and efficient medication management for patients of all ages, physicians, employees, and the public.
- Follow appropriate guidelines under the supervision of the pharmacist for medication preparation and distribution.
- Work in a team environment with flexibility to provide medications to patients.
- Perform tasks such as IV admixture, assisting with medication dispensing, maintaining medication inventories, handling verbal refill approvals, insurance verification, working with technology, and medication deliveries.

Qualifications
- Active National Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Healthcare Association (NHA).
- Must obtain Pharmacy Technician (State) (PHT) credential within 30 days of employment if no prior experience; or at hire if prior experience. Register for the certificate through the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy.
Desired
- 1 year experience working in pharmacy.
- High School Diploma or GED.
