Position Highlights:

How You’ll Impact Patient Care:

Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist pharmacists with preparing and processing medication orders to ensure timely delivery and accurate billing.
  • Organize daily tasks efficiently and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Maintain medication stock quality and availability.
  • Provide pharmacy services in patient care areas.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support departmental goals.
  • Keep skills up to date and contribute to staff education.
  • Adhere to hospital standards fostering a positive work environment through communication and teamwork.
  • Deliver age-appropriate care following Age Specific Care Guidelines.

What You Will Need

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • North Carolina Board of Pharmacy registration as a pharmacy technician within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Have (Not Required)

  • Completion of a formal technician training program.
  • Associate degree in healthcare or related field.
